KING'S STORY

Born and raised in the resilient city of Oceanside, California, King Holder's journey from a humble upbringing to a renowned entrepreneur and creative is nothing short of inspirational.

Growing up in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with six family members -- including his parents and siblings (his sister would split time between homes), King learned the value of resilience and resourcefulness at a young age.

Money wasn't prevalent in the Holder household, but instead of succumbing to the challenges, the Holder family embraced them as opportunity. From a young age, he learned the art of trading and flipping items on platforms like Craigslist from his dad, honing his entrepreneurial skills with each transaction. King gives credit to both his mom and dad for teaching him resourcefulness, values, and strength.

Reflecting on his upbringing, King speaks with pride about his hometown, where toughness and pride are woven into the fabric of the community. " Everyone from Oceanside has a certain level of toughness about them," he says. "We all grow up with deep pride for our city."

King's journey was marked by risks — ones that led him from the football fields of Division 1 athletics to the uncharted territory of entrepreneurship. This hasn't been a smooth journey, which even included hardship such as couch surfing and sleeping in his car for almost 2 years in the process. Embracing risk as a lifestyle characteristic, King found courage in facing his fears, knowing that each challenge was a stepping stone towards his goals.

Only a couple short years ago, King embarked on his latest venture, PROCUSSION. This innovative recovery brand that has revolutionized the industry with its flagship product, SURGE — The World's First Dual-Head Massage Gun.

Despite limited resources and no external funding, King's scrappiness and resourcefulness laid the foundation for PROCUSSION's success. "I'm proud that we've accomplished so much without investors," King reflects. "I've always been scrappy, and that's really the core of my brand's foundation."

Driven by a desire to empower others, King is passionate about sharing his insights with aspiring entrepreneurs. "There's enough room for us all to be successful," he believes.

 From the iconic Hollywood scene to the laid-back charm of Santa Monica, Los Angeles has become King's 2nd home. As he continues to pave the way for aspiring entrepreneurs, he remains grounded, never forgetting his roots. "My hometown and the way I was raised is the source of my pride," he says. "When I win, the whole city wins."

This long, yet somehow still blossoming journey is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and the unwavering belief in one's dreams.
